The Atelier
In early 2016, Cavanagh Baker opened her flagship design atelier in downtown Nashville’s historic Cummins Station. The extra-tall ceilings and wide windows of the former train depot, now home to dozens of creative companies, provide an ideal location for the company’s headquarters, which features both a public showroom and private fitting area for Cavanagh’s custom clientele.
The space is elegant, but warm and inviting. Formal touches like tapestry curtains, a red lacquered mirror, and a feature chandelier made from bleached antlers and sparkling Swarovski crystals are balanced by the hominess of a working fireplace and fuzzy shag rug, a favorite play area of Mufasa, the atelier dog.
The Atelier is open to the public on weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM or by appointment.
